Qualifications

• Competence in operating plant or machinery, with CPCS or MPQC card advantageous.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform maintenance tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile and fixed plant in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist in the extraction and processing of raw materials.
• Conduct regular safety checks and report hazards.

Skills

Competence in operating plant or machinery (e.g. loading shovel, excavator, dumper truck)

Basic mechanical knowledge

Understanding of health and safety practices

Good communication skills

Safety-focused attitude

Reliability and punctuality

Education

CPCS or MPQC card

MPQC or NVQ Level 2 in Extractives Operations

First aid or health & safety training
