Job summary

Tillicoultry Quarries is seeking a Quarry Manager to lead daily operations at our East Bilney Sand & Gravel Quarry. You will ensure safe and efficient plant performance, manage a small team, and work with the Production Manager to meet targets.

The role requires 3+ years of team leadership, strong HSE knowledge, and familiarity with Quarry Regulations 1999. A competitive remuneration package and career development are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience leading quarry teams.
• Strong health, safety and environmental awareness.
• SHE NVQ Level 4 completed or currently pursuing.
• Knowledge of Quarry Regulations 1999 and ACOP.
• Solid understanding of plant and machinery maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety, maintenance and service checks.
• Oversee safe and efficient operation of on-site equipment.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager to meet productivity targets.
• Develop and implement SOPs, risk assessments and training.
• Manage staff development and training plans.
