Quantum Motion Technologies is offering a four-month Quantum Theory Internship Programme for Summer 2027 in the UK. Interns will bridge research and industry, working under a supervisor on targeted research areas and optional software projects.

We seek PhD-level researchers or Master’s students who want to apply their academic work to real hardware challenges, with visa support where needed and mentorship from leading experts in silicon spin qubits and quantum architectures.

Qualifications

• Pursuing (or recently completed) PhD-level degree in a target area listed above.
• Interest in applying research to hardware and software projects.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Embed within Quantum Theory team and follow supervisor guidance.
• Contribute to research in applications and algorithms, quantum error correction, silicon device modelling and fault-tolerant architectures.
• Assist with software projects across research areas.
