Job summary

The University of Edinburgh is recruiting up to three Innovation Fellows to develop high-impact applications of quantum computing across multiple scientific domains. You will work within the QATCH programme alongside the Quantum Software Lab and national partners to deliver quantum-ready solutions.

• Demonstrable research track record in quantum computing and/or a relevant application domain.
• At least two years of postdoctoral (or equivalent industry) experience.
• Ability to translate frontier quantum research into real-world impact and ship solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-impact applications of quantum computing across defined sectors.
• Collaborate with the Quantum Software Lab, College experts, and industry partners to deliver end-to-end quantum software pipelines.
• Work as part of a cohort to drive research from concept to demonstration in real-world problems.
