We are seeking experienced and dedicated Quantity Surveyors (QS) to join our client for planned works in the social housing sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality, affordable housing projects that make a real difference in communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Estimating & Budgeting: Provide accurate cost estimates for planned works and maintain tight control over project budgets.
- Tendering & Contract Management: Prepare tender documents, assess bids, and manage contracts through to completion.
- Project Monitoring: Oversee project progress, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects meet legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in Quantity Surveying within social housing or similar sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction cost management, tendering processes, and contract administration.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in planned maintenance and refurbishments is a plus.
