Job summary

Expanded Structures is seeking a permanent Quantity Surveyor to join its East Suffolk team. The role supports direct project delivery across reinforced-concrete basements, substructures and frames, with involvement in measurement, valuation, and payment processes.

The successful candidate will have a quantity-surveying degree or higher and practical NEC experience, with a background in construction, civil engineering, infrastructure or direct delivery. RICS membership is desirable.

Qualifications

• Quantity surveying degree or higher qualification (required).
• Practical NEC experience (required).
• Background in construction, civil engineering, infrastructure or direct delivery, preferably covering the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Measure, value and agree work packages.
• Process interim payment applications and certificates; assist with drafting and closing subcontracts.
• Contribute to forecasts and expenditure reports, claims, final accounts and negotiations.
• Identify and price change; help establish project budgets and prepare contract reviews and management information.
• Advise project colleagues about contractual obligations, risks and opportunities.
