I'm currently working in partnership with a highly regarded construction consultancy who are looking to appoint both a Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding Manchester team. This is an exclusive opportunity to join a respected and forward-thinking consultancy with a strong reputation across the infrastructure sector - covering rail, utilities, roads/highways, and aviation. The business is known for its collaborative culture, high-quality project delivery, and commitment to the professional growth of its people.

The Role: As part of a well-established infrastructure team, you\'ll take ownership of projects from feasibility through to final account. Working within an NEC environment, you\'ll be responsible for cost management, procurement, contract administration, and supporting key client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-to-end cost management across major infrastructure projects.
  • Administer NEC contracts and support commercial decision-making.
  • Produce accurate cost reports, valuations, and forecasts.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior team members (for the Senior QS position).

About You:

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Experience within infrastructure sectors (rail, utilities, highways, aviation, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ambitious, detail-driven, and passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes.
