Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - Chichester (Hybrid Working) | £45k - £80k DOE | Defence Sector Projects | International Project Exposure
Bennett & Game are currently representing a specialist Main Contractor based near Chichester who are seeking either a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.
This is an exclusive opportunity being managed by Bennett & Game Recruitment, working with a contractor that delivers technically complex construction projects across the UK and internationally within secure and defence-related sectors. The business specialises in delivering high-security environments for government, defence and critical infrastructure clients, with projects typically ranging from £250k to £8m.
Whether joining at Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor level, you will take ownership of commercially managing projects from pre-contract through to final account. Senior Quantity Surveyors will also provide commercial leadership, mentor junior team members and lead negotiations with clients and subcontractors on strategically important projects.
Applications are welcomed from both Main Contractors and Quantity Surveying Consultancies, provided candidates have strong commercial fundamentals and experience administering NEC contracts.
The position offers a hybrid working structure with typically 2-3 days per week based in the Chichester office, making the role suitable for candidates located across Chichester, Portsmouth, Southampton, Guildford, Brighton, Crawley, Basingstoke and surrounding areas. Due to the nature of the projects, applicants should ideally live within approximately one hour of Chichester and also be able to travel into London when required.
While the role is primarily UK-based, the business also delivers projects across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Caribbean. The successful candidate will have the option to spend approximately 2-4 weeks per year supporting international projects, although the role can remain entirely UK-based if preferred.
