Quantity Surveyor - Roofing & Cladding Contractor (Glasgow)

Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Contract Type: Permanent

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial management of roofing and cladding projects from tender stage through to final account. You'll work closely with project teams to ensure financial control, compliance with contract terms, and timely delivery of projects within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all commercial aspects of projects, including cost control, valuations, and variations.
  • Prepare and submit accurate monthly applications and final accounts.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC forms of contract and company procedures.
  • Provide cost advice and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the roofing, cladding, or construction sectors.
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts is essential.
  • RICS qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
