Job summary

MCR Property Group is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for an office refurbishment project in Greater Manchester. The role focuses on delivering schemes within budget and programme, with hands-on commercial input from inception to final account.

You will report to senior directors and work within a team of PMs and QSs, conducting cost plans, measurements, tendering, value engineering, and interim valuations. The office-based role requires site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor across office refurbishment projects.
• Experience in developer, main contractor, or subcontractor environments.
• Strong cost planning and estimation abilities, tendering and procurement experience, and post-contract value management.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly cost reporting and financial forecasting for the project portfolio.
• Manage contract and subcontract packages, variations, and final accounts.
• Collaborate with project managers and commercial directors to drive commercial strategy and financial control.
