An international consulting firm seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor - Nuclear to manage financial and contractual aspects of projects. This role entails working closely with Project Managers and subcontractors, preparing bills of quantities, and ensuring alignment with project deliverables. Overview

Quantity Surveyor - Nuclear

South Wales, 4 days a week onsite
Up to £600 Inside IR35

A Quantity Surveyor - Nuclear is needed to work with a top international consulting firm for design, engineering, and project management. A global engineering and project management firm specialising in infrastructure, transportation, energy, and defence.

As the QS - Nuclear you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of the project including but not limited to costs, cost control, subcontractor procurement, preparing bills of quantities, valuing work and handling final accounts. You will be working closely with the Project Managers liaising with clients and contractors to ensure all processes are executed to align with project deliverables on time and within budgets.

  • Procurement of subcontractors and management of related contracts.
  • Prepare bills of quantities and value work performed.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, and contractors to ensure alignment with project deliverables, schedule, and budget.
Key requirements
  • Experience within the Nuclear sector.
  • NEC/FIDIC experience is essential.
  • Strong experience as a Quantity Surveyor (QS).
  • Preferably experience within process/heavy engineering.
