Quantity Surveyors - Infrastructure Sector
Location: Manchester (Hybrid working available)
Salary: Competitive + excellent benefits package

The Role

You’ll be working on a diverse range of infrastructure projects across the roads, highways, aviation, utilities, and rail sectors, supporting both public and private clients. This is a great opportunity to play a key part in delivering some of the region's most high-profile schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver all aspects of pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services
  • Prepare cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation
  • Administer contracts under NEC and other standard forms
  • Manage project budgets and control costs throughout project lifecycles
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders
  • Support the development of junior staff (for senior applicants)
About You
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Experience within infrastructure sectors (highways, utilities, rail, aviation, etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts is essential
  • Ideally chartered (MRICS) or working towards it
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
