Salary: £400/450 Per day

About the Role

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team and support the delivery of high-quality projects across our portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to progress their career within a dynamic and supportive environment. You'll play a key role in cost management, contract administration, and value optimisation - ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage applications for payment, valuations, and cost value reconciliations.
  • Monitor cost control and forecasting, supporting the preparation of monthly reports on value, cost, profit/loss, and cash flow.
  • Manage and develop supply chain relationships.
  • Assist in Risk and Value Management to help optimise project delivery.
  • Mentor and collaborate with the wider project team to ensure consistent commercial performance.
  • Administer contracts, including the use of various contractual forms, budgetary control methods, and relevant software tools.
  • Prepare subcontract enquiries, negotiate terms, and set up subcontract agreements.
  • Maintain up-to-date records, notifications, and contractual documentation.
  • Identify and communicate safety or risk concerns to site management.
  • Liaise regularly with site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Provide contractual and commercial advice to site teams as required.
Person Specification

Essential:
