Job Description

I'm working with a leading contractor delivering major infrastructure, port-development and coastal protection projects across the UK and Ireland. As a Quantity Surveyor you'll provide key commercial and contractual support to project teams, helping manage valuations, variations, sub-contracts, claims and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities
  • Advise and support Project and Site teams on contract administration and commercial matters
  • Prepare monthly valuations, payment applications and invoices; assess contract variations / compensation events
  • Assist Cost Controllers with monthly financial reporting and monitor subcontractor performance
  • Contribute to tender assessments and sub‑contract negotiations/evaluation
  • Attend internal and external commercial meetings; liaise with legal/insurance departments as required
Ideal candidate profile
  • Qualified Quantity Surveyor (degree or equivalent) with legal/commercial awareness in civil engineering or marine environment
  • Good knowledge of NEC suite of contracts (or similar) and subcontract administration
  • Strong communication skills, able to integrate with diverse and multi‑teams
  • Full UK driving licence; willingness to travel and work occasionally off‑site
