Quantity Surveyor Passive Fire Protection Manchester £60,000 - £80,000

Construo Recruitment are working with a leading construction and project management company who deliver high-quality building, fit-out, and fire protection projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the commercial aspects of Passive Fire Protection projects from tender to final account.
  • Prepare and evaluate tenders, cost plans, and contract documentation.
  • Undertake site visits, valuations, and cost reporting.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure accurate project delivery.
  • Support project managers and the fire protection team with commercial insight and cost control.
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering and process improvements.
About You
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
  • Knowledge and experience in Passive Fire Protection works (fire stopping, compartmentation, Fire Doors).
  • Strong understanding of contracts (JCT/NEC) and cost management processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Degree-qualified or equivalent experience (RICS accreditation desirable).
