Quantity Surveyor We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor with a series of upcoming projects in Reading. The business has been established for over 100 years, undertaking projects across the education, healthcare, commercial and housing sectors with projects typically valuing up to £15mil. Its an exciting time to join the business, with a steady pipeline of work in the region and growth plans which will see you play a key role in the companies success. About the role of Quantity Surveyor: As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for either managing your own project with the assistance of the management team or working as number 2, reporting into a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be involved in 2nd stage tender process
  • Manage sub-contract procurement
  • Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
  • Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
  • Deal with final accounts
Key Requirements
  • Have a HNC / construction related degree
  • Have administered JCT forms of contract
  • Must have the full right to work in the UK
  • Must live within commutable distance to Reading
