We are seeking a driven Quantity Surveyor with experience in infrastructure, highways, or civil engineering projects to join a leading contractor in the Manchester region.

This is a long-term permanent role supporting major roads, structures, groundworks, and civils schemes, offering excellent progression, professional development, and hybrid working (1 WFH day per week).

Ideal for an Assistant QS with 3 years experience stepping up or an established QS seeking strong project exposure and stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the commercial management of highways, civils & infrastructure works
  • Prepare and manage valuations, variations, CVRs & cost reports
  • Oversee subcontract procurement, agreements, and payments
  • Monitor cost control, forecasting, and cash flow performance
  • Support NEC/JCT contract administration & change control
  • Contribute to risk and value management activities
  • Work closely with project delivery teams & clients
Requirements
  • 3–9 years Quantity Surveying experience (civil engineering / roads )
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar discipline
  • Familiarity with NEC () or JCT contracts
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel & QS systems
  • Ambitious, proactive, and strong communicator
