About the company

Our client is a multi-award-winning construction business delivering high-end residential new builds, refurbishments, and extensions across Hertfordshire, London, and the Home Counties. The role

As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll:

  • Manage the full commercial lifecycle of residential projects from tender to final account
  • Oversee budgets, cash flow, cost control, and financial reporting
  • Liaise closely with Project Managers, design teams, clients, and subcontractors
  • Be a client-facing lead, attending meetings and presenting cost updates
  • Handle procurement, contracts (JCT), valuations, and variations
  • Ensure financial targets are met and commercial risks are managed
  • Help refine internal commercial systems and processes as the business grows
You’ll bring:
  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within high-end residential or refurbishment projects
  • Proven experience running your own jobs and managing finances independently
  • Strong cost management and reporting skills
