About the role: reporting into the Service Manager, the successful Quantity Surveyor will be an integral member of the commercial team working on our Darrington to Dishforth Highways Contract which provides maintenance and scheme delivery. Ideally, you will have worked in a similar industry with experience of working on Highways, Infrastructure or Civil Engineering Projects.

Responsibilities
  • Build a strong relationship with internal and client counterparts
  • Manage commercial projects from pre‑contract stage through to completion
  • Engage and manage sub‑contracts including tender enquiries, award and assessment of monthly payment applications
  • Support the production of monthly CVR’s
  • Produce both internal and client forecasts
  • Work on the production and substantiation through to agreement of associated Final Accounts
  • Ensure all Tarmac and client processes are followed to minimise commercial risk
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Full UK manual car driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Understanding of SAP or willingness to learn
  • Understanding of the NEC suite of contracts, primarily NEC 3 Term Services
  • Understanding of Causeway CPA or willingness to learn
