Job summary

Mane Energy seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure programme in Waltham Cross. The role focuses on commercial delivery, subcontractor management, contract administration and ensuring profitability from inception to final account.

You will work with project teams to produce reports, manage compensation events, monitor risk and deliver accurate cost analysis. Hybrid on-site role with substantial time on site.

Qualifications

• Experience working on infrastructure, civil engineering, rail or utilities contracts.
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts and commercial documentation.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts and compensation events is desirable.
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial reports, applications and contractual documents.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier accounts, including valuations, variations, claims and final accounts.
• Support administration of compensation events and contractual changes.
• Monitor commercial risks and maintain project risk registers.
• Produce accurate financial reporting, forecasting and cost analysis.
• Support project profitability through cost control.
• Attend commercial and project meetings.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and Health & Safety standards.
