A reputable groundworks and civil engineering company in the Midlands is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for commercial projects. This hybrid role offers ownership of various groundworks projects, including concrete foundations and drainage systems. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the civil engineering sector, and must be located in the Midlands. Salary up to £85k or Ltd Co Status at £400 per day is available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within Groundworks or Civil Engineering.
• NEC Contract Experience.
• Midlands home location.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site measurements and valuations.
• Perform cost reporting and negotiate contracts.
• Handle variations and final accounts.

QUANTITY SURVEYOR – HYBRID WORKING – Commercial Groundworks projects – Midlands region

Working for a very reputable local groundworks and civil engineering business that operates throughout the Midlands region. This role is ideally for a civil engineering or groundworks experienced Quantity Surveyor that wants to have ownership of a variety of projects strictly in the Midlands region. Hybrid Working.

Groundworks Project Packages include:

• Foundations
• Deep and Shallow Drainage
• Retaining Structures foundations
• Balancing Ponds
• Hard and Soft Landscaping
• Surfacing

All projects are working with commercial and industrial projects/clients. No residential groundworks.

Requirements
