Job summary

Lemon Drizzle Recruitment is delighted to assist a growing contractor delivering social housing regeneration, refurbishment, retrofit and decarbonisation projects across the North of England with a Site-based Quantity Surveyor role.

You will report to the Commercial Manager, take commercial responsibility for multiple projects from start to final accounts, and work closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners to ensure profitable delivery while maintaining high standards for

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing refurbishment or regeneration projects.
• Proven ability to manage subcontract procurement and payments.
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing project costs, forecasts and commercial performance
• Producing CVRs and commercial reports
• Managing subcontractor procurement and commercial agreements
• Reviewing and agreeing subcontractor valuations and payments
• Managing variations and change control processes
• Supporting financial forecasting and cash flow management
• Identifying and mitigating commercial risks
• Assisting with the preparation and agreement of final accounts
• Working closely with operational teams to maximise project performance
