A leading civil contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team focusing on highways projects in the Berkshire and Oxfordshire areas. The successful candidate will prepare cost reports, measure works, and manage subcontractor accounts, working closely with clients to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of recent highways experience.
• Conversant with NEC forms of contract.
• Experience in civils and road construction.

Quantity Surveyor – Highways

Salary: £40000-50000
Location: Buckinghamshire
Region: Berkshire

We are looking for an experienced Highways QS to work within the Berkshire and Oxfordshire areas. Schemes will be in Aylesbury, High Wycome and also in Oxford.

Working for a leading Highways and Civils contractor you will be working within the team already consisting of 2 QS’s and a commercial assistant and you will work closely with the client in order to reach the best outcomes.

Duties/requirements:
Preparation of monthly cost / value reports for area, together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members
Measurement of works and agreement of same with client and subcontractors
Agreement of payment of subcontractor accounts – monitoring of accounts
Must be conversant with NEC forms of contract
Must of recently worked within the highways sector
Works – Civils – Road construction experience
Only apply if you have RECENT highways experience.(3-5 years).
