Job summary

A leading engineering solutions provider in the UK is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage contractual requirements for energy projects. Candidates should hold a 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics/Quantity Surveying and have at least 18 months of experience. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 months experience working as a Surveyor.

Responsibilities

  • Management and ownership of commercial and contractual requirements.
  • Interface with Client Commercial/Contract Team.
  • Project Procurement including Sub-contractors.
  • Conduct cost and risk analysis.
  • Review correspondence to identify contractually critical items.
  • Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors.
  • Provide project costing, margin & cashflow reports.
  • Manage project change order procedures.

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Previous experience working in the electrical/mechanical field
Ability to prioritise workload according to deadlines
High attention to detail
Ability to influence colleagues at all levels
Teamwork in high performing environments

Education
