The role involves cost management, administering contracts, and preparing estimates. The ideal candidate will have a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying and proven experience in the construction industry. Qualifications

• Proven experience in building/construction sectors.
• Experience in occupied buildings/campuses.
• Experience in NEC3 Contracts is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Measure, record & value work unsupervised.
• Work with PM on value engineering reductions.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities and/or Schedules of rates.
• Monitor subcontract activities and respond appropriately.

Skills

Experience in the role of a Quantity Surveyor

Excellent interpersonal skills

High level organisational ability

Self-motivated with a proactive approach

Competent user of IT software packages including MS Office

Education

BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying
