Job summary

White Recruitment Construction in Manchester is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial performance of HVAC and mechanical projects, from award through final account, with a strong focus on contract administration.

You will administer contracts (JCT/NEC), handle valuations, variations and final accounts, monitor budgets and provide forecasts and reports, while liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors to drive smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, HVAC or M&E.
• Strong understanding of contract administration.
• Knowledge of JCT/NEC forms.
• Experience with valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Confident dealing with clients and subcontractors.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management qualification preferred.

We’re recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a growing specialist HVAC and mechanical contractor based in Manchester.

This role will focus heavily on contract administration and commercial control, supporting projects from award through to final account.

The Role

• Manage the commercial performance of HVAC and mechanical projects

The Opportunity

This is a strong role for a QS who enjoys the contractual side of project delivery, not just cost reporting.

You’ll have real ownership of contract administration, variations, notices, valuations and final accounts, with long-term progression into Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager.
