Pinnacle Recruitment are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis.

We are working alongside a company that have been going for over 50 years operating within Greater London and the South East on projects up to £5 million. They have many sectors which include education, local authority, high-end residential, ecclesiastical, health and commercial.

Salary – £65,000

Responsibilities;

  • Meeting clients to determine their needs and discuss any areas that need revising for price or feasibility
  • Calculating material quantities and costs, labour costs and an achievable project time-frame
  • Negotiating labour contracts and schedules
  • Advising clients and crew on legal matters and disputes
  • Monitoring subcontractors, safety practices, construction progress and material needs, including any changes which may impact costs
  • Preparing labour and supplier accounts for payment
  • Writing reports detailing costs and progress for clients

Requirements;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Management/Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction-related discipline.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within larger teams and engagement with clients’ supply chain.
  • Experience working on JCT or NEC contracts.
  • Over 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience.
