A leading construction contractor in Birmingham is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage project valuations and cost control. The ideal candidate will have proven experience, strong commercial knowledge, and a degree in Quantity Surveying. About the Role

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing one project in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing valuations, variations, cost control, and payments.
  • Working closely with project teams and clients to ensure profitability.
  • Maintaining and developing strong relationships with bulk house builders.
  • Producing accurate financial reporting to support senior management.
  • Playing a key role in the delivery of multiple new projects starting shortly.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Experience working with Civil Engineering, Groundworks or Infrastructure.
  • Strong commercial and NEC / JCT contractual knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying.
