Job summary

Kendall Kingscott is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Bristol team. You will manage financial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring budgets are met, risks are controlled and value for money is delivered while upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Working with clients and stakeholders, you will oversee procurement, prepare cost estimates and budgets, monitor progress and cash flow, and administer contracts.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
• MRICS status is desirable but not essential.
• Confidence in being positioned in a client facing role for respective projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods and cost management principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proven leadership abilities with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Valid driving licence.

• Administer contracts and manage variations, claims and disputes effectively.
• Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of contract terms and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and relevant regulations.
• Implement robust cost control measures to optimise project profitability.Track project costs, expenditures and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
• Provide expert guidance to clients and stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making throughout project lifecycles.
