Job summary

Valoris Group Limited, a well-established contractor, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their West London office on a permanent, office-based basis.

You will manage project costs, budgets, BOQs and reporting, working closely with project teams and suppliers to ensure financial control and successful delivery.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying and strong cost-control skills, with a proactive, multi-tasking approach.

Qualifications

• A degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Proven experience in cost control, reporting, and BOQ preparation in construction.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of industry contracts and construction regulations.

Responsibilities

• Cost control & budgeting: manage project budgets and cost tracking.
• BOQ & cost planning: prepare quantities and forecast costs.

The Role

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team on a permanent basis. This role plays a key part in managing project costs, ensuring financial control, and supporting successful project delivery. Based in their West London office, you will work closely with the commercial and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Control & Budgeting: Develop and manage project budgets, track costs, and provide financial analysis.
• BOQ & Cost Planning: Prepare Bills of Quantities and deliver accurate cost forecasts.
• Financial Reporting: Maintain up-to-date cost records and produce detailed reports.
• Contract Management: Oversee subcontractor agreements, ensure compliance, and support procurement processes.
• Collaboration: Work alongside project managers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure financial efficiency and smooth project execution.
