The role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be at the heart of a major nuclear decommissioning project, helping to deliver commercial integrity and contract governance across a high-value programme.

Day-to-day, you’ll lead contract change assessments, negotiate pricing, and implement commercial solutions that drive value and compliance.

  • Delivering contract management and governance support to the project team
  • Leading change assessments including scoping, cost and time impact
  • Negotiating and pricing contract changes with stakeholders
  • Developing and implementing commercial solutions that benefit all parties
  • Ensuring compliance with contract terms and commercial best practice

This is a permanent role, working 37 hours per week, based at Warrington (Cheshire). Hybrid working patterns are available, with 2–3 days in the office.

Essential experience of the Quantity Surveyor
  • Demonstrable experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a regulated industry
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of NEC3 or similar standard contracts
  • Proven ability to support projects and change initiatives using appropriate methodologies
  • Experience in forecasting and costing
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders

  • Degree-qualified in a relevant field (e.g. Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management)
