Quantity Surveyor – Fit-Out & Refurbishment Contractor - Education & Healthcare Projects
Salary: £45k - £65k DOE | Location: St Mary Cray, Kent | Office Based + Occasional Site Visits (London & South East) | Immediate Start / Interviews
Our client is a growing, reputable main contractor with a strong track record across education and healthcare sectors, recently moving away from high-end residential projects.
With a current turnover of £7m and ambitions to grow to £10m, they're securing places on key frameworks such as the Academy of State and Bromley Council.
They deliver high-quality refurbishments and fit-outs, and with a healthy pipeline of public sector projects, they are now looking for a driven Quantity Surveyor to support continued expansion.
This is a standout opportunity for an ambitious and driven Quantity Surveyor—particularly someone with a background in fit-out, refurbishment, or public sector projects—who's ready to take the next step toward a Commercial Manager role. The company is actively investing in the progression of this position and sees it as a key part of their long-term growth, making it ideal for someone eager to take on more responsibility and leadership within a tight-knit commercial team.
You'll work closely with the Senior QS/Commercial Manager while also guiding and mentoring an Assistant QS, gaining hands-on experience that will support your transition into a more senior commercial role. This forward-thinking business values progression from within and is committed to helping the right candidate step up as they continue to expand.
The role is based full-time at the Orpington office, with regular site visits required. While there is currently no work-from-home option, there may be increased flexibility in the future as the company continues to evolve.
