Job summary

Reevr Talent Ltd seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a tunnel infrastructure project based at our client’s Peterborough offices. The role focuses on NEC3 contract administration, cost control, and robust commercial reporting to support financial performance.

You will manage compensation events, forecasts and payments, while coordinating with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant commercial delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor on infrastructure, civil engineering or tunnelling projects.
• Experience with NEC3 contracts is essential.
• Skilled in cost control, forecasting, valuations and subcontractor management.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract administration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of the tunnel project.
• Administer NEC3 contracts, including compensation events and early warnings.
• Prepare cost forecasts, valuations and financial reports.
• Assess subcontractor applications, payments and variations.
• Monitor project expenditure, budgets and commercial risks.
• Support the preparation and submission of applications for payment.
• Manage change control and maintain accurate commercial records.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure effective commercial delivery.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a tunnel infrastructure project, based at our client's offices in Peterborough.

The successful candidate must have proven experience working with NEC3 contracts and a strong background in commercial management, cost control and contract administration within major infrastructure, civil engineering or tunnelling projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in managing project costs, contractual obligations and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
