About the Role

We are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work within our busy engineering department in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Producing monthly accounting, costing, contract, management, and financial information
  • Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on bills of quantities, specifications, and contractual implications of ongoing and new projects
  • Liaising with clients regarding costs, variations, and minor works opportunities
  • Supporting the Contracts Manager with tender enquiries, responses, and determining the company's charging structures
About You
  • Proven Senior Quantity Surveyor experience (rail experience is a bonus, but we welcome candidates from civils, highways, utilities, or wider construction backgrounds)
  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying / Construction
  • Self‑motivated with a proactive approach, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ambitious, with a desire to develop both personally and professionally
