Division: Lightning Protection (LPI) Location:nesley, Nottingham (NG15 0HT)

PTSG, a market leader in vital safety systems. We need a Quantity Surveyor to commercially manage our Lightning Protection projects in Nottingham. If you enjoy a fast paced environment and have good contract knowledge including JCT, NEC and bespoke contracts—this is your next step.

About the role

You’ll manage all commercial elements, from the start of a project right through to the final payment:

  • Contract Focus: Handle all communication and compliance for JCT/NEC and other contracts.
  • Risk Management: Work with Project Managers to spot and reduce financial and contractual risks.
  • Submit payment applications, manage variations and track costs.
  • Reporting: Produce clear weekly and monthly financial reports (CVR) for management.
What You Need

We care about your core QS skills and attitude, if you haven’t worked in lightning protection before we can provide training in the sector’s specifics.

  • Minimum 1 year of QS experience.
  • Good practical skills in measurement
  • A solid understanding of contract details and project finance.
  • Familiar with spreadsheets and analysing cost changes.
  • You must have or be willing to get a CSCS card.
