Overview

Conrad Consulting are delighted to be supporting a specialist contractor in their search for a Quantity Surveyor to support their commercial team who will be based Sizewell C.

Responsibilities
  • Handling measurement tasks, managing contract-related communication, and overseeing subcontractor procurement and coordination
  • Sourcing and placing orders for required materials
  • Preparing and submitting interim payment applications and final account settlements
  • Identifying, reporting, and evaluating compensation events in line with contractual obligations
  • Assisting with the development and ongoing management of project budgets
  • Monitoring project progress and costs, including performing material reconciliations and compiling weekly production reports
  • Producing financial reports, including cost/value reconciliations and cash flow forecasts
  • Participating in regular project progress meetings
  • Keeping accurate site records such as site diaries and as-built documentation
  • Managing day-to-day operations, including administrative tasks and staff training where necessary
Requirements
  • At least 5 years experience within Quantity Surveying
  • Civils experience would be highly advantageous
  • High attention to detail coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experienced with NEC contract forms
