Overview

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to support project leaders in maintaining high standards of service delivery in a challenging and fast‑moving environment, while achieving successful outcomes for our clients. The role is based in Leeds, Manchester or Birmingham, with flexible location options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing accurate commercial and cost management advice and reporting to our clients.
  • Leading or supporting the successful delivery of projects and commissions.
  • Setting objectives and priorities, working independently or as a proactive team player.
  • Effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects; liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control.
  • Undertaking service delivery with minimal supervision and guidance.
  • Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Providing commercial management support to the broader project team.
  • Developing strong collaborative relationships with client and clients’ supply chain staff to support the achievement of project goals.
  • Negotiating and corresponding with clients.
  • Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant educational background, including a degree or apprenticeship.
  • Professional institution membership (CICES, RICS, ICE, etc.) or working towards qualification.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in relevant sectors.
  • Technical delivery experience gained within civil engineering projects.
  • Good technical writing, client‑facing and communication skills.
  • Well‑organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well‑disciplined and commercially astute.
  • A team player with a ‘can‑do’ attitude.
