Senior Procurement Manager – Property (Construction)

Salary: £80,000 to £88,000 + 20% bonus, matched pension up to 7.5% PMI and 25 days annual leave + additional benefits.

Location: Hertfordshire (3 days a week). Team: leadership role with 2 direct reports.

Are you a senior procurement professional ready to take ownership of a major Property & Construction portfolio across a complex, multi‑site estate? This is a rare opportunity to step into a strategic leadership role overseeing all procurement activity across building maintenance, civils, roofing, FM asset upgrades, and new build / refurbishment projects. You will be shaping commercial strategy for a global operation where scale, safety, and uptime truly matter.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead procurement strategy for a broad Property category spanning civil engineering, construction, reactive & planned maintenance, and capex works.
  • Manage and develop a team of 2‑3 Procurement Managers.
  • Partner closely with Property leadership, engineers, and project teams across a multi‑billion‑pound estate.
  • Drive value, compliance, and supplier performance across mission‑critical services.
  • Take ownership of major tendering activity, long‑term framework agreements, and supplier development programmes.
  • Ensure all buildings remain safe, compliant, and “fit for purpose” through robust supply chain management.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong background in Property, Construction or Civils procurement.
  • Ability to operate in a large, multi‑site, high‑governance environment.
  • Experience leading high‑performing teams.
  • Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders in fast‑paced, complex environments.
