A leading infrastructure services provider in the UK seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage procurement and financial aspects of major water projects. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long‑term while protecting the environment.
As a commercial‑grade Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the procurement and management of sub‑contractor applications and payments, overseeing cash flow and aged debt reporting, and managing the financial aspects of the AMP8 frameworks across varied clients including COSTAIN, United Utilities and Yorkshire Water.
You will drive value engineering, manage contractor relationships and ensure projects deliver on time and on budget. Cost management expertise is required to prepare accurate estimates and budgets, monitor expenditure against forecasts and implement cost control measures.
Your day‑to‑day activities will include providing sound commercial advice, participating in change management processes, and ensuring the profitability and success of projects.
