Overview

A well-established, specialist Construction Consultancy is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their London team, working predominantly on residential schemes for Registered Providers and Local Authorities.

This is an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with a strong public sector background to work on meaningful housing projects that directly impact local communities.

The Quantity Surveyor Role

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be joining a highly regarded consultancy of around 60 professionals, with an enviable track record delivering residential-led schemes for housing associations, local councils, and public sector clients.

Typical projects
  • Large-scale new-build affordable housing developments
  • Residential refurbishments and regeneration schemes
  • Mixed-tenure housing projects
  • Estate improvement programmes

Work is varied, covering both pre and post contract stages, with opportunities to take on Employers Agent responsibilities where applicable. The environment is collaborative and professional, with low staff turnover and a commitment to delivering quality service.

The Quantity Surveyor - Requirements
  • RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Experience delivering projects for Registered Providers or Local Authorities
  • Pre and post contract expertise
  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience in a UK Consultancy
  • Employers Agent experience highly desirable
