What you’ll do:

  • Prepare and analyse project budgets, bills of quantities, and tender documentation
  • Procure subcontractors and manage contract documentation in line with company standards
  • Certify interim payments and manage valuations, variations, and claims accurately
  • Identify and manage commercial risks and assist with cost value reconciliations
  • Build strong relationships between commercial and site teams to support project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with JCT and NEC contracts, driving cost-effective project outcomes

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree qualified with strong civil engineering sector experience (the projects will mainly be on marine, ports, floods, defences)
  • Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, particularly JCT and NEC forms
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Organised, proactive, able to meet deadlines and work independently
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to sites across Scotland
