  • Monitor project costs against approved budgets and provide regular financial reporting.

  • Prepare and agree final accounts with contractors and suppliers.

  • Provide commercial advice to project and operational teams.

  • Review contracts, scope of works and contractor performance.

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.

  • Maintain accurate commercial records and ensure appropriate governance and reporting.

  • Support the delivery of planned maintenance, lifecycle replacement and hard services projects, including mechanical, electrical and building services works.

  • Provide commercial support on construction and refurbishment projects, from pre-construction through to completion.

  • Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, facilities management, building services or a related environment.

  • Experience of managing the commercial aspects of hard services projects, ideally covering M&E, mechanical, electrical or building services.

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement and commercial management.

  • Experience in cost planning, forecasting, valuations, variations and final accounts.

  • Excellent numerical, analytical and negotiation skills.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant commercial/project management systems.

  • Relevant Quantity Surveying or commercial qualification is desirable.

What We Offer

  • Exposure to a varied and challenging project portfolio.

  • Professional development and career progression opportunities.

  • Supportive and collaborative working environment.

  • Opportunity to make a direct contribution to commercial and project performance.

About You
