Job summary

A reputable construction company in Northern Ireland seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to handle cost estimation, dispute resolution, and contractor payments. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying and over 5 years of experience in the field. Proficiency in English and Chinese is required. Attractive remuneration package offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years working experience in QS as a Main Contractor.
• NEC Contract experience is an advantage.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

Responsibilities

• Preparing cost estimation, extension of time claims, certifying payments, and variation and final account settlement.
• Assist in dispute resolution matters.
• Handle sub-contractors’ payments, main contractor's payment & variation orders.
• Document control, system entry, and reporting.
• Prepare subletting and tender budget and report.

Qualifications / Educational Requirements, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor Degree / Higher Diploma in QS or equivalent;
• At least 5 years working experience or above in QS in Main Contractor;
• Contract administration in QS skill;
• Work independent;
• With NEC Contractexperienceis an advantage;
• Good command of written in both English and Chinese;
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Quantity Surveyor
