A growing construction consultancy in Elmbridge is seeking a personable Quantity Surveyor to support a Senior Quantity Surveyor on high-end residential projects across the Southeast. The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of Quantity Surveying experience, strong client-facing skills, and a robust understanding of pre and post contract work. Job Description

An expanding, client-facing Quantity Surveying team in Surrey is seeking a personable Quantity Surveyor who can hit the ground running and support a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Surrey.

The Quantity Surveyor's role

Working closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor, the successful Quantity Surveyor will help deliver high-end residential projects for private clients across the Southeast, primarily London, Surrey and Kent.

Day to day, the new Quantity Surveyor will be involved in pre and post contract work including: preparing budgets and cost plans, managing the full tender process, administering contracts, and negotiating final accounts.

Qualifications
  • 2-7 years Quantity Surveying experience
  • Worked within a UK construction consultancy
  • Able to commute to Southwest London / Surrey
  • Residential or high end residential project experience
  • Good pre and post contract knowledge
  • Client facing / personable character
  • MRICS or completed a Quantity Surveying degree
