We\'re seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading UK civil engineering and enabling works contractor recognised for delivering technically complex infrastructure, remediation, and earthworks projects.

The business has earned a reputation for quality delivery, commercial integrity, and long-term client partnerships. As part of the commercial team, you\'ll play a key role in managing project finances, contract administration, and cost control from tender through to final account.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full commercial lifecycle of infrastructure, earthworks, and enabling works projects
  • Prepare and review cost plans, tender submissions, and bills of quantities
  • Conduct valuations, variations, and progress claims in line with NEC / JCT contract conditions
  • Liaise with site managers, engineers, and procurement teams to maintain cost accuracy and control
  • Assess subcontractor applications, variations, and final accounts
  • Support forecasting, cost reporting, and project cash flow analysis
  • Monitor change control, risk management, and early warnings under contract
  • Contribute to commercial strategy meetings and client progress reviews
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and project reporting standards
What We\'re Looking For
  • Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline
  • Proven experience delivering civils, infrastructure, remediation, or earthworks projects
  • Strong understanding of NEC contract forms and project cost management
  • Excellent numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communicator, confident working with clients and site teams
  • Proactive, organised, and commercially astute
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to attend project sites
