Overview

Quantity Surveyor - UK, London - Long Term Contract

Our client are a leading utility and global leader in the development of renewable power generation. They currently have multiple exciting and large-scale infrastructure projects utilising hydrogen technology.

What you''ll do

• SAP operations when needed for cost control.
• Proactive contract management to ensure a full alignment of the project team to meet the given contractual obligations of both parties as well as on the commercial alignment of work progress with the defined project budget.
• Advice package and manage variation requests and/or notices from a contractor
• Ensures that contractual variations and changes or claims with regard to the scope of delivery and services, prices, timeline or other contractual agreements are enforced and up-to-date.

What you''ll need

• RICS certification is mandatory
• Degree qualified in a commercial subject, engineering or equivalent
• Experience in quantity surveying and contract management, preferably in the offshore wind industry or similar energy projects.
• Extensive knowledge of contract change management & claim management in FIDIC, BIMCO and LOGIC based contracts.
