EA Associates are working on behalf of a leading and well-established sub‑contractor based near to Chelmsford, who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to work with a respected contractor delivering high‑quality projects across East Anglia & London.

The Role

• Managing commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final account
• Preparing and submitting valuations and applications for payment
• Cost control, forecasting and reporting
• Managing variations and change control
• Procuring and managing sub‑contract packages
• Liaising closely with project managers, clients, and supply chain
• Supporting the commercial director with financial reporting

About You

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a sub‑contractor environment OR Main Contractor
• Strong understanding of commercial and contractual processes
• Confident communicator with good negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Relevant construction or commercial qualification preferred
