Job summary

A national Chartered Surveying consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its Cardiff office. The successful candidate will work with the QS Director, manage projects, and perform a full range of consultancy duties. The role requires a Quantity Surveying degree and 2+ years of experience. In return, the company offers a salary between £40,000 - £55,000, EOT + bonus scheme, generous leave, pension, and APC support for professional growth.

Qualifications

Quantity Surveyor

A national, Chartered Surveying consultancy (an Employee Ownership Trust) is hiring a client facing Quantity Surveyor to join its new office in Cardiff.

The Quantity Surveyor's role

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be working alongside the chartered QS Director on an array of projects across South Wales including major technology sector buildings, education, residential and commercial.

The Director is seeking a Quantity Surveyor who has experience and is comfortable running a project or two independently, whilst supporting on larger, more complex projects.

The work consists of the full range of traditional consultancy QS duties plus an element of monitoring where needed - so some previous experience of monitoring work would be very beneficial.

The Quantity Surveyor
  • Completed a Quantity Surveying degree
  • 2+ years Quantity Surveying experience
  • PQS / Consultancy background
  • MRICS or working towards
  • Pre and post contract experience
  • Monitoring experience is a plus
  • Driving licence
