We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-focused Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established civil engineering contractor working across the East Anglia region. With a solid pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering complex infrastructure schemes to the highest standard, this is a fantastic opportunity for a professional looking to grow within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Location: Cambridge-based, with regional site visits across East Anglia

Sector: Heavy Civils & Environmental - including drainage, flood defence, river and coastal works, and infrastructure improvements

Responsibilities
  • Prepare cost forecasts, budgets, and financial reports
  • Manage interim applications and final accounts
  • Negotiate with clients and subcontractors
  • Provide commercial support to project teams
  • Ensure compliance with contract conditions and company procedures
  • Support the delivery of projects safely, on time, and within budget
About You
  • Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role within heavy civils or environmental works
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Full UK driving licence (due to regional travel)
