With a strong pipeline of projects – from private infrastructure networks and microgrid solutions to hydrogen generation and battery storage – this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business shaping the UK’s energy future.

The Role

As a key member of the commercial team, you’ll provide contractual and commercial expertise across a diverse portfolio of projects. Working with project managers, procurement, and delivery teams, you’ll help drive business performance and ensure commercial assurance on high-value contracts, including NEC, JCT, and bespoke frameworks.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing contract negotiations, variations, and claims to maximise value.
  • Supporting project delivery teams with cost forecasting, risk management, and budget control.
  • Leading on contract resolution and advising on procurement routes.
  • Building strong relationships with delivery partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and best commercial practices.

This is a high-profile role where you’ll play a pivotal part in the successful delivery of major energy infrastructure projects.

What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in contract management and administration (NEC / JCT essential).
  • Skilled negotiator with the ability to manage claims and resolve disputes.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical ability with attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator able to influence at all levels.
  • Chartered or working towards (RICS / CIOB / CICES) desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence.

  • A competitive salary package.
  • Annual bonus scheme.
  • Company car or car allowance.
  • 25 days annual leave (rising with service).
  • Private healthcare.
  • Contributory pension scheme.
  • Access to employee rewards portal & discounts.
  • Ongoing professional development through tailored L&D.
